Advanced Brain Chemistry Support

At Avra Health, we take a biochemical and individualized approach to mental health, behavior, mood, focus, and nervous system regulation.

Dr. April Graham is a Walsh Research Institute–trained physician and has completed Advanced Brain Chemistry training through the Walsh Research Institute. This training focuses on identifying and addressing biochemical patterns that are commonly found in mental health and behavioral disorders, including nutrient imbalances, methylation issues, oxidative stress, and detoxification challenges.

A Biochemical Approach to Brain Health

Rather than looking only at symptoms, we evaluate the underlying chemistry that may be influencing how the brain and nervous system function.

At Avra Health, we assess and treat patterns such as:

  • Zinc deficiency

  • Copper overload

  • Methylation disorders

  • Malabsorption

  • Toxic-metal overload

  • Pyrrole disorders

  • Nutrient imbalances commonly found in mental disorders

These imbalances may play a role in mood regulation, focus, emotional resilience, stress tolerance, sleep, and behavior.

Support for Adults and Children

Avra Health works with both adults and children over the age of 2 to support healthy brain chemistry. For children, this approach may be helpful when families are looking for a deeper understanding of nutritional and biochemical factors that may be contributing to mood, attention, behavior, or emotional regulation challenges.

Personalized Testing and Treatment

Care begins with a detailed history, symptom review, and targeted lab testing when appropriate. From there, we create an individualized plan that may include nutrient therapy, dietary support, digestive support, detoxification support, and lifestyle strategies.

Our goal is to identify what your body and brain may need to function more optimally — and to create a thoughtful, personalized plan based on your unique biochemistry.

Brain Chemistry, Optimized

If you or your child are struggling with mood, focus, behavior, or nervous system regulation, there may be more to the story than symptoms alone. At Avra Health, we help uncover the biochemical patterns that may be contributing — and support the body with targeted, individualized care.

"I am a descendant of a family with multigenerational mental illness and addiction. Learning the Walsh method has given me so much hope for addressing mental illness by balancing biochemistry, hopefully breaking those multigenerational cycles."
